During this period when public worship is suspended in our churches, Holy Communion will continue to be celebrated on Sundays by our clergy, and prayers will be said on Wednesdays in one of the benefice churches.
Everyone is invited to join in at home with their own prayers at the following times: TenAM on Sundays; and FivePM on Wednesdays. Lists of useful prayer resources are available on this week’s news sheet (see News tab for download).
Each of us can contribute to God’s praise whether at home, in church or, for some, at work.
The Archbishops are inviting us to place a lit candle in the windows of our homes at 7pm on Mothering Sunday, 22nd March, as a focus of prayer and solidarity for our community and parishes.
We are rural church communities in Hampshire, UK, in the South Downs National Park and are part of the Anglican Diocese of Portsmouth.
Our village churches are used regularly and are still open for quiet times of reflection and prayer. We believe that God is active in these communities and that we are on a pilgrimage of faith together.
We are closely involved with our two church schools, and enjoy good links with the pupils, parental communities and staff members at Froxfield Primary School and Steep Primary School.
We are inclusive churches, and welcome everyone to share in God's love.
Please get in touch with us via the website and be assured of our prayers for you all in the community. You can request a weekly news sheet on the Contact Us tab.
