Having been Interim Area Dean for the Petersfield Deanery for the previous year, in May 2023 Susie accepted the Bishop’s invitation to make this a permanent role.  Its responsibilities are in addition to her regular ministry.  She is also on Bishop's Council.  These appointments ensure that Susie is at the heart of events and decision-making in the diocese.
