Having been Associate Vicar of our benefice since October 2018, Susie will in a week's time (on Monday 2 October) be licensed as Priest-in-Charge of our benefice by the Bishop of Portsmouth, the Rt Revd Jonathan Frost. Susie continues in her role as Area Dean (appointed in May 2022), those responsibilities being in addition to her regular ministry - and she is also on Bishop's Council. These additional appointments ensure that Susie is at the heart of events and decision-making in the diocese. Susie has two grown-up daughters, three adult step-children and a lively black Labrador. She completed her doctorate studies at Chester University. As Priest-in-Charge Susie will commit Sundays and three days a week to the benefice, and she appreciates the respect of this as a half-time role; she will be ably supported by the rest of the Ministry Team.
